ABOUT SHELLY KWONG, LCSW
Shelly Kwong is a neurodivergent licensed clinical social worker located in the San Francisco Bay Area. She is a staunch supporter of the rights of neurodivergent individuals and works to help them survive and thrive in a hostile society that is clearly designed by capitalists and corporations to maximize the economic output of the working class by building and prescribing systems and norms that marginalize anyone who does not fit into their models of what a “productive employee” or “respectable member of society” should be.
She has two cats, the larger and arguably cuter of which is named “The Little One.”
Shelly graduated from the University of California, Davis, with bachelor’s degrees in psychology and English and later went on to study at California State University, East Bay for her master’s degree in social work. She obtained licensure from the California Board of Behavioral Sciences in 2018.
She takes neurodiversity, decolonization, and workers’ rights extremely seriously and would love to discuss these topics with you, if interested.
